How to unzip a file?

If you purchased a large file size photoshop brush set, you will receive an email that tells you where to download a zip folder.
"Zipping" is a method of compressing a file. This makes it smaller, enabling you to save space, download the file faster, and email it.

After downloaded your zip file, double click on it and unzip it.

For PC Users:

7 Zip

If you do not have unzip program you may download free. 7-Zip is a file archiver with a high compression ratio.
7-Zip works in Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista. There is a port of the command line version to Linux/Unix.

How to unzip in PC?

Download 7 zip and then install it. After that, choose your zipped file (a file that ends in ".zip"), just double-click on that file.
Your unzip program will automatically open, and you can then choose where you want the unzipped version of that file to be saved on your computer.

The Unarchiver requires Mac OS X 10.3.9.
It is very simple to use and install - simply copy it into your Applications folder or whereever you prefer, and then set archive filetypes to open using it.
This can either be done the usual way, or by double-clicking the icon to show The Unarchiver's preferences.

How to unzip a file in Mac?

You should double-click on the file and it will decompress.Usually it will create a folder on the directory where it is.
However, be aware sometimes it won't create it by the same name. Use the finder to look for new folder by date.
