How to create a custom photoshop brush?
You can create a brush from an image, a photograph, a graphic shape or even a text.
Photoshop brushes can not be bigger than 2500 pixels, so if you like to turn a photo to a brush, you need to resize it first.
Step by step creating a brush
1. Choose an image at your computer. To create your own brush, first open an image to use as the basis of the brush.
2. To reduce the file size and clear photoshop brush effect, try to clean background of the image. Erase background colors, any unnecessary details.
3. You should select the area to convert to a brush using your preferred selection tool or you can select the entire image if desired.
4. From main toolbar Choose Edit, Define Brush Preset and type a name for your brush and click Ok.
5. You need to save the brush now. Click on arrow btton
6. Give aname for your brush set and save it to your computer. You can add more brushes as you wish. The brush set will be saved as .abr file.
7. You make any color of your brush image.
8.You can create brush from a text as well as an image.
9. You can type any text, rotate, give perspective or distord.
10. You can mix match text and images too.
